Suicide Watch

Last night I had someone break down and start crying on the phone. She repeated that she wAnted to die . I think the main problem is that she has withdrawn from a lot of medication quite quickly; ADD mess as well as antianxiety drugs and the usual gamut of drugs that lot of Americans seem to take…in my experience they are either obsessed by wholefoods and wont even take a paracetamol or pill-munching.

My friend on the phone does have a realistic attitude but now no longer has health insurance so even the ADD stuff by itself is expensive.

I will finish this when I’ve had some sleep and recovered.

Plea for contact

BC has been trying to contact me for a while (well 2 or 3 days) saying sorry for the day she swore and shouted at me in front of her flatmate.

Now she wants contact because she has a problem with debt collectors over her phone.  I feel bad for her and want to help but I need to break off properly. We’ve been through all this before. Interesting that she wants contact now she has a problem she wants my help with. However, doing that in front of a flatmate is unforgiveable.

This is a destructive relationship. She never particularly wants to help me out when I need it. And if she does it’s after a lot of complaints.

So no, no contact. 8 missed calls from her today. No doubt she will start turning up at the door soon.

The Vault of Horror (1973)

This has Terry-Thomas and Tom Baker.

Remarkable because the Terry-Thomas portion is just like me and some girlfriends, particulalry the last one. She ‘tidies up’ which means I can’t actually find anything. Terry-Thomas does things a certain way and his new wife doesn’t appreciate that.

ADD means that you need for things NOT to be moved from their usual places. OR that you have vague notions where things are ; when people ‘tidy’ or put stuff away without telling you, you can spend HOURS looking sometimes. I;m sure it’s done with the best of intentions…

Valentines Day – the end?

Day after Valentines Day Brenda comes back from college to ‘catch’ me on the phone to John. She hates John. She starts muttering in the background and eventually starts shouting.
I go to leave and carry on convo outside but she starts screaming so I have to end the call.
I go out and call from callbox. Later I return and pack my things to go . More screaming when my shoes go inside.

I leave and haven’t been in touch since.
This can’t go on. The only reason I go round so often or for so long is because her flat is so warm!
I’m not that interested in PM as an ternative though.

Do not cough in my ear…

…if we are speaking on the phone. It is unbelievably annoying. I find ‘coughers’ generally annoying anyway and just wish they would go away until they stop. Take some medicine. Don’t answer the phone or learn to TURN YOUR HEAD AWAY  from the headset if you are coughing. What do you think it sounds like for the person at the other end? If you were conversing with someone in the street, would you like them to step up to YOUR ear every time they coughed?  Well that’s what it feels like on the phone.

TURN YOUR HEAD THE FUCK AWAY!
